About Us
Sue Elvis, Community Founder
Sue is an Australian blogger at Stories of an Unschooling Family and the founder of this community. She is also a podcaster and Youtuber, and the author of two unschooling books, Curious Unschoolers, Radical Unschool Love and The Unschool Challenge.
As you might guess, she is passionate about unschooling. (Maybe you are too!) Sue is no longer a host, although the community is influenced by her work which is often referenced.
Chellie, Host
Chellie is a married mom of two. She loves to read, bake, and write. She has always homeschooled, but found Sue's blog and decided to unschool. She has been unschooling ever since. She has a passion for sharing ideas and resources, and welcoming children into the community, either as members or collaborators with youth and family content.
Erin, Host
Erin has been living and learning alongside four wonderful kids (two of whom are now young adults) for many years. She enjoys chatting with other parents about what unschooling looks like for their individual families and also loves exploring and life learning as an adult. Erin lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband, two youngest children and two lovely tuxedo cats. She blogs at Ever Learning and co-hosts a podcast about unschooling, home education and family life, the Virtual Kitchen Table.
Noel, Host
Noel has homeschooled from the time her oldest was kinder age and started unschooling after reading Sue's books and finally finding unschooling explained in a way that made sense to her. What started out as ja trial period has now turned to a love of unschooling. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, spending time outdoors, crocheting, finding the learning in all aspects of life and talking to other moms about unschooling. Noel lives in Texas with her husband, 5 children, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 20 or so chickens.

About This Community
We hope this unschooling community is a source of encouragement, support, information and friendship for anyone interested in unschooling.
It doesn’t matter if you are a long time unschooler or just setting out on your unschooling adventure. Perhaps you just want to find out more about unschooling before committing to this way of life. Whatever your situation, you’re very welcome to join our community!
