The Stories of an Unschooling Family community

Come on an unschooling adventure!

About Me

I’m Sue Elvis!

I’m an Australian blogger at Stories of an Unschooling Family. I’m also a podcaster and Youtuber, and the author of two unschooling books, Curious Unschoolers and Radical Unschool Love.

As you might guess, I’m passionate about unschooling. (Maybe you are too!)

About This Community

I created this unschooling community as a source of encouragement, support, information and friendship for anyone interested in unschooling.

It doesn’t matter if you are long time unschoolers or just setting out on your unschooling adventure. Perhaps you just want to find out more about unschooling before committing to this way of life. Whatever your situation, you’re very welcome to join our community!

What can you expect from this community?

Firstly, our community is a place of gentleness and acceptance where we enjoy slow conversations.

We have some regular features:

  • weekly unschooling challenges which help us turn unschooling principles into something real in our lives
  • resource posts
  • homeschool registration and record keeping posts that include ideas for translating unschooling into educational language
  • our unschooling weeks posts where we share what’s happening in our lives
  • adult unschooling topics because unschooling never stops!
  • parenting discussions
  • Zoom discussions
  • and more
